Investigator Smith attended Mercyhurst University’s Institute for Intelligence Studies, where he earned a BA in Intelligence Studies and a minor in the Arabic language. While at Mercyhurst, Investigator Smith was honored as a Horatio Alger Military Scholar. Investigator Smith earned an M.S.Ed. from the Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and has completed diminutive PhD. coursework at the University of Colorado.

Prior to becoming a private investigator, Investigator Smith served in the United States Army. While on active duty, Investigator Smith served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle.
